I love cooking. Especially since moving into our house 3 years ago, and re-designing the kitchen. So actually, I love my kitchen. I would spend all day in there if I could.
New kitchens are pricey, so I didn’t buy a lot of new equipment when it was finished, something I now regret. I hate all of my old cheap pans, and now I’m a mum I don’t budget things like that into my monthly spend. But after trying the Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri, I desperately want to chuck everything away and buy new shiny pans!
The things I regularly cook are stir fry’s, french toast, meat etc. The majority of the time I use low calorie cooking spray, so you can imagine my frustration when the food sticks. Enter Ozeri.
If i’m honest, I’ve never really trusted the ‘non-stick’ pans. They all say it on the label, and it’s almost never true. But I’ve now realised that’s because I’m buying cheap pans. You really do need to invest in a ‘good’ pan if you don’t want your food to stick. I haven’t been disappointed with the Green Earth Frying Pan. I will certainly be looking at the other kitchen products by Ozeri. I’ve already got my eye on the Green Earth Wok. (Unfortunately for my bank balance, all of the equipment in my kitchen is green, and so are the Ozeri products. So i’m just going to have to buy the wok too. I work in design remember, everything just has to match!)
One of my fave things to cook Lamb at the moment is french toast (eggy bread as we call it). If you have read my previous posts on weaning, you will know Lamb hardly eats anything. I’m really struggling. If things don’t improve soon we may consider seeing a specialist. Just to rule out any serious issues.
Every now and then however, I can get him to eat eggy bread. Especially if he shares mummy’s piece! Last week I cooked it using our new Ozeri pan. It was delicious! I know this may sound strange, but I actually think it tasted nicer than when I use my old pan. It didn’t stick and cooked really easily. Exactly what us busy mums need!
I would love some recommendations of kitchen items you love cooking with. I’m really looking forward to baking cakes with Lamb!
